Welcome to NALS of New York, Inc.

Paralegals and legal assistants are the backbone of our legal system

They do a variety of tasks to support lawyers, such as legal research, drafting documents and file organization and maintenance. Most working paralegals and legal assistants have completed an associate’s degree or certificate program in paralegal studies, but many employers will prefer, or require, applicants to have a bachelor’s degree.

Why Should I Join the NALS Community?

By joining, you become connected to a larger group that gather online through our Social Link member dashboard system and across the United States on a state or local level. Getting involved in your local and state NALS chapters allows you to enjoy social events, education, and networking with colleagues near you. While traveling, see if there's a chapter near your destination and meet other members around the country!

Visit our Member Benefits section to learn more about all the available benefits of membership.
